If you haven’t logged in ever, or even if it’s been a while, you may have missed their latest course releases designed to deepen your expertise in SOLIDWORKS, 3DEXPERIENCE, and electrical design. Here are some new and updated courses added to SolidProfessor in the past year:.

SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematic Training

SolidProfessor’s newly released course on SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematic focuses on the 2D schematic software functionality, enabling users to quickly develop 2D schematics, wiring line diagrams, and mixed scheme drawings that combine the two. This course has been updated to reflect changes to the UI, updated tools, and new workflows possible in the latest release of the software. It does, however, only cover the 2D schematic portion of the software in just over four hours.

While four hours is a lot of content for the first update to this SP course since 2016, TriMech offers instructor-led, in-depth classes on SOLIDWORKS Electrical Schematic. These classes provide hands-on experience and personalized instruction to further develop your expertise. This updated course on SolidProfessor, though, is a great refresher for topics you may have learned in training but haven’t used since then. 

3DEXPERIENCE Training Series: Navigate the Cloud-Based Platform

SolidProfessor’s 3DEXPERIENCE Training Series is designed to help users understand the capabilities of Cloud Services in SOLIDWORKS, including roles, applications, and general terminology on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. The course covers managing a 3DEXPERIENCE tenant, controlling members, roles, and permissions, and transitioning to cloud-based workflows to streamline file management. It also explores integrating desktop and cloud systems for better collaboration. ​There are several courses catered to all levels of usage, so whether you’re just looking to understand more or if you need to learn how to be a 3DEXPERIENCE administrator, there are courses for you to pick up the skills you need.

3DEXPERIENCE Cloud Services: Introduction to Cloud-Based Tools

The 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud Services course is a three-part series that introduces users to the cloud services now included with all licenses of SOLIDWORKS CAD. This series offers a variety of use cases for 3DEXPERIENCE Cloud Services tools, providing a holistic overview of the platform’s purpose and capabilities. It’s an excellent starting point for new users to learn the basics of 3DEXPERIENCE tools through working examples and is recommended as a prerequisite before enrolling in other 3DEXPERIENCE training. ​

SOLIDWORKS Routing: Piping and Tubing

SolidProfessor’s latest course on SOLIDWORKS Routing: Piping and Tubing has also been updated for the first time since 2016, featuring both basic and advanced lessons on creating pipe and tube routes. The course is a quick start to help you make your next pipe or tube assembly design, and even prepares you for more complex routing tasks. This is another area where, if you need a more in-depth understanding of the topic, or just prefer working with an instructor, we offer a two-day training course.
