From the bottom left corner of the SOLIDWORKS main window (usually)
This information is visible most of the time, but is often not visible when in mid-execution of a command.

The About SOLIDWORKS dialog will be displayed where you can find all the information about your SOLIDWORKS package, either Standard, Professional, or Premium; and also the version and service pack numbers. By clicking on the “Show Serial Number” link your SOLIDWORKS serial number will appear.

From the Registry Editor
In case for any reason, SOLIDWORKS does not load up you can still find your serial number from the Registry Editor. Click the Windows Start button and Run “regedit”. The registry editor window pops up. Use the following path to locate your serial number:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > SOFTWARE > SolidWorks > Licenses > Serial Numbers

From the Windows Control Panel
One other option would be going to the Control Panel > Programs and Features > right-click SOLIDWORKS > Change/Modify (this launches the SOLIDWORKS Installation Manager) > Modify your installation > Next (which brings us to the Serial Number page)

On the network licensing server (if applicable), 2023 and later-year versions
- On the License Server, open the SolidNetWork License Manager Server application.
- On the ‘Server Administration’ tab, click the ‘Modify’ button.

- Check ‘Activate/Reactivate your product license(s)‘, and then select ‘Next’ twice to reach this page where the serial numbers are listed:

On the licensing server, in Control Panel > Programs > Add or Remove Programs > SolidNetwork License Manager > Modify, the serial numbers are listed, separated by commas.
